American Power forward Sterling Manley (213-F/C-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Reales de La Vega, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10 (Second Stage).
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Metros (#4, 13-10) 104-93. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Reales to take over top position in the Dominican Rep. LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Reales has a very solid 15-7 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Manley turned to be Reales' top player in his first season with the team. Former University of North Carolina star has very solid stats this year. Manley is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.8rpg) and averages impressive 1.7bpg and 60.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Reales' star - young American Nahziah Carter (198-G-1999). Carter had a very good evening with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course Reales de La Vega cruised to a 104-93 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Metros (#4, 13-10). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Reales consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team has currently 15-7 record. Carter is a newcomer at Reales, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.2ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 4.6rpg and 3.3apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American Jeff Allen (201-C/F-1987, agency: BMS Sport Agency) of Metros de Santiago (#4). Allen showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Allen's great performance the Metros lost 93-104 to #1 ranked Reales. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Metros needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 13 victories and 10 lost games. Allen has a very solid season. In 19 games in Dominican Republic he scored 9.2ppg. He also has 4.3rpg and a FGP of 54.1%.
